Un-official Lake Lewisville, Texas Line class Record!
Flathead Catfish 25.34 pounds,
All Star 7 foot Titanium Rod, Medalist Spinning Reel and 10 lb Supreme line

Joel,

Not sure which part of my gear was responsible for тур на Байкал на двоих landing this monster but as an avid bass angler I have come to know that when fishing anything can and will happen. Using my AST864S AllStar titanium spinning rod & Pflueger Medalist spinning Reel, I have been catching several nice bass while competeing in a local "Working Mans" tournament circuit each week. The "Arkie Spider Jig" I have been using on 10 lb Super Tough Shakespeare Supreme line has been a great match of well balanced gear and this past Saturday I proved it.

While casting to 15 feet of water off rocks I worked my Spider Jig slowly and expected that signature thump. After my third cast at a new spot I felt just that set the hook and held on for a thirty minute ride. At first I thought I may even beat Kevin Van Dams recent E-50 Tournament Lake record until I felt the fish rolling the way a big cat does. I was apprehensive about even getting the fish into the boat after the first ten minutes because I have hooked many big fish like this before on light line only to be diss-appointed by break offs when they "roll."

This big cat was no match for the gear I had that day....the drag was perfect the rod held up well and the line had nary a mark on it when the fish finally hit the net! My arm stayed sore for two days! I just wanted to take this time to tell you thanks for the sponsorship and thanks even more for the quality products from rod to reel to line. Rest assurred I am proud to use them!

Sincerely, Kirk R. Armstrong
